Opening weekend of "Crumble: Lay me down Justin Timberlake" was awesome!! We had a huge house and a great response. The play is written by Sheila Callahan and is a dark coming of age story.
The story revolves around 11 year old Janice who had lost her father christmas the year before and her attempt at reuniting her family and bringing things back to the way they were before the calamity. It is definitely one of those stories you could see five times and still find new things going on with it.
It is a great cast. Shelly Hacco plays Janice, Stephen Kline plays the apartment, Clara is played by Heidi Rhodes, Barbara is played by Julianna Bolles, and the Dad, Justin Timberlake, and Harrison Ford are all played by me (
Bill Doherty Jr.)
The play is produced by Shelly and Ronnie Marmo, and is also directed by Ronnie.
But, yes, opening night was a blast!!! It was so much fun. I am looking forward to ripping through this run with everyone.
