This post is mostly as a reference to myself, but, I figured it will help out others in case you were searching. Every time I am designing a poster for a film I have written down the dimensions for it somewhere and the font used to do the credits with and I lose the info. All the time!!! So here it is:
The two most common used movie poster sizes are:
- 27 x 40 (Seems to be more practical for indie films)
- 40 x 60 (Full size movie theater size)
And the font used for the credits is:
